
Dušan Jevtović (1925 – 2011) was born in Gorna Tarnava, Serbia. A shoemaker by trade, he enlisted in the army in 1942 and served as a militiaman until 1959, when he retired as an invalid with the rank of captain. Started painting at the age of 30, his artistic career began in the 60s. He has individual and collective participation in exhibitions all over Europe and Japan, he is the winner of many awards in Serbia, including the grand prize of the Museum of Naive Art in Jagodina.
