Isabel Alfred Nemecek – Moinova was born in 1969 in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a child, Isabel loved to paint and master with her hands. But then she moved away from this hobby. In 1996 she graduated from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) as an engineer in hydro building. For several years after graduation Isabel worked as an architectural designer, but in the meantime she returned to her creative passion and began to master clay sculptures. Gradually, through self-learning, with the accumulation of experience and after a lot of experimentation, she turns this into a main activity. Isabel works only by hand, so every job is unique. She has two solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and participated in a number of collective events.
