Latinka Minkova was born in the town of Pernik in 1952. She graduated from the Construction Technical College in her hometown and has a Master degree from the “D.Tsenov” VFSI in Svishtov, majoring in Accounting. Almost her entire professional career has been in the field of journalism. Member of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists, the Confederation of Bulgarian Writers and the Union of Bulgarian Artists – Pernik group. Latinka is the author of 8 books, winner of a number of literary and artistic prizes. To date, she has 18 solo exhibitions and participation in dozens of collective local and international events. Her paintings are used for psychotherapy by the Psychological Aid Company in Switzerland. Works by Latinka Minkova are in collections all over the world and in the museum exposition Salon for naive and intuitive art, Belogradchik.
