Mira Rakhneva was born in 1981 in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated from Sofia art school with a degree in Painting and has a master’s degree in “Semiotics of Fine Arts” from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She started exhibiting in 2007 and since then has 10 solo exhibitions in the country and dozens of participations in group events in Bulgaria and the United States. She also works in the field of photography, and her shots have been awarded in international competitions. Mira is the author of dozens of illustrations and some of the covers of Prof. Randall Baker’s books. Her paintings are owned by connoisseurs and collectors from Bulgaria, England, Switzerland, Norway, the Netherlands, Canada, Poland, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Japan.
