Rosen Rashev – Roshpaka was born on 15.02.1970 in Vratsa. He graduated from the Iliya Petrov Secondary School of Fine Arts in Sofia. He has had 49 solo exhibitions in 5 countries and has participated in dozens of collective exhibitions, including several times at the International Biennale for Naive Art in Jagodina, Serbia. He has won several awards, including the Grand Prize of the Museum of Native and Marginal Art in Jagodina, Serbia which he has won twice. His works can be found in the Ivan Funev Art Gallery in Vratsa, the Museum of Marginal and Naive Art in Jagodina, Serbia, the Museum of Insite Art in Bratislava, Slovakia. About 50 of his works are owned by the collector of Bulgarian art Hugo Wooten. His works are owned by private collections in Bulgaria, Serbia, Germany, France, Israel, Austria, USA, Italy, Spain, Japan, Greece.
