Rumyana Rusinova graduated from the Academy of Arts in Sofia in 1978. She is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. She lives and works in Sofia. Her works are dominated by small metal plastics, which is why her name is most often associated with sculpture. She has had solo exhibitions in Bulgaria, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Greece.
She has participated in international exhibitions in Europe, India, the USA, Asia and Canada. She has won prestigious awards in Bulgaria and France. Her works are owned by private collections in Spain, Italy, Germany, USA, Canada, Greece, France and Sweden.
