Stoyan Bozhkilov was born on January 8, 1974 in Sandanski. He has a degree in Pedagogy at the Neofit Rilski Southwestern University. He started painting in 1996. He has had 13 solo exhibitions in 4 countries, including three at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. He has won awards at collective exhibitions. His paintings are owned by the Sculpture Garden Museum at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bulgaria and the Museum of Naive Art, Moscow, Russia. He is a member of UBA in the Painting section. He lives and works in Sandanski.
