Vladimir Shunev was born in 1961 in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria. In 1987 he graduated from the University of Mining and Geology, Sofia. Freelance artist since 1990. Member of the UBA since 1992. Winner of a prize for painting from the Struma-95 Regional Exhibition, Bulgaria and a prize for painting from the International Symposium on Alley-2002, Lebanon. There are 44 solo exhibitions in 3 countries.
