Carole Béatrice Perret was born in 1951 in Bern, Switzerland. She worked as an advertising illustrator in Paris and then in Lausanne. In addition to her passion for horse riding and her horses, it was her other passion for painting that motivated her to devote herself entirely to this art since 1998. Advised by an elder in painting, Carole started using the technique of Tempera on wood panel. She is especially known for her paintings that explore the world of the imagination, where she stages with humor and a gentle impertinence , ” Nuns ” with imposing headdresses, dressed in blue and white. The artist likes to show them in all situations of extravagance, but without shocking. These devotees, a little angel and a little witch, willingly tease us. They seem to say that we all wear a uniform in life… and that the dress does not make the nun! Carole exhibited in tens of countries in Europe and her paintings are also part of private collections in Europe, USA, Brazil, Japan, Middle East.
