Dimitar Vetsin was born in 1950 in Oreshets, Belogradchik region, Bulgaria. In 1980 he began his career as a self-taught artist. His creative biography includes over 50 solo exhibitions in Sofia and the country and participation in numerous general art exhibitions. He won the Second Prize at the First International Naive Salon in Bucharest in 1997 and received the diploma of the most original author of Art Expo in Sofia in 1998. In 2014 he received the Grand Prize of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. at the General Landscape Art Exhibition in Vidin. His works are owned by the National Art Gallery – Sofia, the art galleries in Targovishte, Montana, Vidin, Belogradchik, as well as by private collectors in the USA, China, France, Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria.
