Eve Dourthe with an artistic name Eve Chat Hibou Chouet was born in 1969 in France in a Normando-Landes family, now settled down in Saint Martin de Hinx in France. She has a medical education and a is self-taught artist – her universe is sometimes naive, strange but most of the time intuitive. She works mainly with acrylic and ink. None of her topics is planned. If something impressed her, a little serie of paintings is born. She is mainly inspired by nature but most of all of animals. She started exhibiting in 2015 and since then has 12 exhibitions in her own country and several prizes in France and Spain.
