
Judith Clay, born in 1964 in Bavaria, Germany, works primarily in ink, pastel, colored pencil, and collage on drawing or watercolor paper but also loves experimenting with other elements like hand-carved rubber stamps. She completed a three-year apprenticeship for ceramic painters in Germany and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in comparative literature. She has written and illustrated a children’s book and her artwork has been published in art magazines, school books, as a book cover and used in workshops for children. She has participated in over 20 group exhibits, the most recent ones in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Oxford, and Tallinn (Estonia). Her works have been shown in five solo exhibits in Germany, Estonia and Italy and her originals have found new homes in many places around the world.
