Milan Nadj was born in 1945 in Samobor, Croatia. He graduated from teacher’s school, worked as a teacher in Molve and painted in his spare time. He received his first professional instructions from Ivan and Josip Generalic in 1968, when he began to take painting more seriously, especially oil on glass. He has been participating in exhibitions since 1969, his first solo exhibition being in 1972. He has more than 40 solo exhibitions and more than 300 participations in group events in Croatia and abroad. Member of the Croatian Society of Naive Artists. He is one of the founders of the Virge Art Workshop. Today he lives and works in Sesvete.
