Steeve Lechasseur was born in Quebec (Canada) in 1967. He has college education and his main work engagement in the early years is in the production hall of different industries. He started painting after having visited an exhibition of Salvador Dali at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 1989. His style is on the border between surrealism and art naïve/art brut, it turns out to be more and more naive as his perception of natural reality is more more naive and joyful. Steeve has numerous commercial one man and collective exhibitions in Canada, France and Netherlands as well as in museum events.
